I got this bird in Juru, Butterworth in September 2007 and it can be found in a variety of wooded habitats, from montane forests to coastal mangroves and open woodlands, especially during migration. A conspicuous bird and often seen sitting high on an open branch and it flies out to catch insects in the air.
